Hi all,
We would like to share a tool that Connecticut has developed to support 3DHP planning efforts. The application allows users to select one or more watersheds and receive an estimated cost to acquire 3DHP data, excluding add on data or enhancements.
For watersheds that cross state borders, the tool provides a cost breakdown by state based on the percentage of the HUC within each state. Users can also export data from the tool to perform other calculations locally.
The application was originally created for the New England region, but we have expanded it to support nationwide use so it can benefit other regions as well. This is intended for planning purposes and provides a broad approximation of potential costs.
