Hi everyone! πŸ‘‹ I'm Meg Henderson, and I'm excited to be here!

I'm a longtime geospatial professional with over 15 years in the field, and like many of you, I wear a lot of hats-GIS analyst, strategist, storyteller, and proud map nerd. πŸ—ΊοΈ I currently focus on using GIS to support government transparency, electoral integrity, and smart decision-making. I'm a firm believer in the power of data to drive meaningful change.

I joined GeoWomen to connect with others who share a passion for geospatial tech and for uplifting women in the field. Whether you're just getting started or have decades of experience, I'm always eager to learn, share, and grow with this community.

Looking forward to great conversations, collaboration, and maybe a few map puns along the way! πŸ’š

Feel free to say hello-I'd love to know what brought you here too!

    Cheers!

    Hi Meg!

Welcome to our community - we are tickled to have you join us! I have a feeling you will feel quite at home in our midst. Hopefully you can join us for our monthly stand up get togethers that occur on the first Friday of every month at 10 am MDT. It's an informal session for us to meet and discuss whatever bubbles up. We look forward to getting to know you!

    Cheers,
    Karen

Thank you, Karen! I've already set up the GeoWomen's meeting as a recurring event on my calendar. I also just got word of approval to attend the 2025 Conference in Nashville - so, I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and becoming more involved.πŸ˜„
