The GeoWomen working group is excited to announce that Friday, August 2 at 12 pm ET will be the first occurrence of the GeoWomen Monthly Standups. These casual monthly meetings are a great way to stay in touch, discuss important topics, and meet other amazing women in GIS. Standups will be on the first Friday of the month at noon ET.
For the first meeting, come prepared to introduce yourself to others on the call and discuss your favorite conference that you've been to. What made it your favorite? Have you seen any patterns in what makes a conference successful and useful to you?
