Tonya Kauhi was the featured speaker at the first ever NSGIC GeoWomen Roundtable - Maintaining Connections in Changing Times.

Tonya Kauhi, GIS Programs Manager for the Port of Tacoma, is a techno-optimist who uses GIS as her superpower to engage and educate the community, provide geospatial insights to help make better business decisions, and save the Port time and money. She has almost 20 years' experience planning, coordinating, developing, implementing, integrating, and maintaining geographic information systems. Tonya specializes in data management, GIS architecture, improving workflows, and evangelizing GIS. She is also the leader and co-founder of Washington Women in GIS & Technology.
