Have any states looked at vehicle mounted mobile lidar for conducting/assisting with culvert or road/stream crossing inventories? I know the mobile lidar might have difficulty seeing the actual culvert hardware because of the angle or obstructions, but maybe it could pick up things like the depth of fill, bank full elevation, whether there's water present, or debris in the channel...?
Just wondering on a Friday afternoon.
