We will initiate two activities with the EDH for 3DNHD Working Group in July and I wanted to make you aware in case you are interested in participating.
Review and Discuss the USGS
3D National Topography Model Call for Action Part 1: 3D Hydrography Program
The USGS would like to meet with the WG to discuss the 3D National Topography Model Call for Action Part 1: 3D Hydrography Program. The Call for Action Part 1 is based on a new vision for integrated elevation and hydrography data built in partnership with state and local governments and the private sector. We'll discuss 3D National Topography Model (3DNTM) objectives, the development of a 3D Hydrography Program (3DHP) that builds upon the current 3D Elevation Program (3DEP), and the role that NSGIC members can play in fulfilling the vision, including providing feedback on the Call for Action Part 1 document.

Review and Refine State Critical Factors for EDH Implementation
The project team is extracting critical factors impacting state and regional efforts to develop locally-derived hydrography from elevation data. These critical factors will be used to develop EDH for 3DNHD project activities and resources that address the needs and interests of state and regional EDH activities.

Working Group is the project work group that will implement and review project-specific tasks.
Also note that we have requested an EDH Breakfast session at the
NSGIC Annual Meeting and hope to see you there. Unfortunately, due to the early meeting time, we are unable to offer virtual access to the breakfast breakout.
